Welcome to the SPS IT & Facilities Newsletter. This “blog” will have information relevant to SPS-IT and SPS-Facilities, as well as NUIT and/or NU Facilities-related areas that may impact SPS.
As you may be aware, SPS-IT has concluded its inaugural Laptop Poll for the end of this fiscal year and the onset of the next fiscal year. The Lenovo T14 model emerged as the top choice by a narrow margin. Laptop deployments will begin soon, which is anticipated to be around mid to late September 2024. (Details of the poll results follow).
The Walk-In Service Desk at Wieboldt Hall has updated hours until Monday, September 23, 2024. Signage is posted at room 614. You may also contact SPS-IT or SPS-Facilities via email (sps-it@northwestern.edu, sps-facilities@northwestern.edu), phone (312-503-3333 or x3-3333 on-campus), or by scanning the QR code on the signage.
As part of a university-wide initiative, SPS’ new copiers/printers/scanners fleet deployment is underway. Remember, Your NU WildCard OR NETID login credentials are required to release your print job from any eligible printer within NU. The updated schedule is as follows.
